Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on installrhub.com, what each one does and how long it lasts. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal data more generally.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept advertising cookies. Nothing in the advertising section below is set unless you press Accept. You can change your mind at any time:
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the site’s own storage may stop forms and the booking calendar working properly.
Needed to run the site
These are set on this device only, are not used for advertising and are not shared with anyone.
- ih_cookie_consent (local storage, until you clear it): remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies, so we don’t ask on every page.
- ih_tracking_params, ih_lead, ih_lead_fired (session storage, cleared when you close the tab): remember how you arrived and what you entered, so an enquiry reaches the right person and isn’t counted twice.
- fc_forecast (session storage, cleared when you close the tab): keeps your answers in the growth forecast between steps.
Measuring our pages (only if you accept)
On the growth forecast pages (/forecast) we measure how people move through the steps, so we can see where the page isn’t working and improve it. These are only stored if you accept cookies. If you don’t, we still count the page view, but nothing is saved on your device.
- gt_vid (cookie, 12 months): a random visitor number, so steps viewed on different pages can be joined up. It does not contain your name or contact details.
- gt_v_<test> (cookie, 90 days) and gt_experiments (local storage): remember which version of a page you saw when we are testing two versions, so you see the same one each time.
Advertising (only if you accept)
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd): cookies such as _fbp and _fbc, up to 90 days. Used to measure which of our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to enquiries and to show our ads to people who have visited the site.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company): cookies such as li_fat_id, lidc and bcookie, up to 12 months. Used for the same purposes on LinkedIn.
These providers may transfer data outside the UK under standard contractual clauses. See Meta’s privacy policy and LinkedIn’s privacy policy.
Embedded services
- Booking calendar (GoHighLevel): the calendar on our booking pages is provided by our booking system and may set its own cookies so the booking works. It only loads on pages where you book a call.
- Videos (YouTube privacy-enhanced mode, Descript): videos show a preview image hosted by us. Nothing is loaded from YouTube or Descript until you press play, and then their own cookie policies apply.
